Nicholas DiChiara, a Central High graduate and now a senior at Auburn University, is developing apps for Google Glass to help the disabled, starting with the hearing impaired. One app he is working on gives real-time captioning of people the user is conversing with.

  1. VERY interesting!  I just read a review about Glass from a woman that was wanting to become an Explorer but was hearing impaired.  She was disappointed that it did have the features this young man is working on!  Bravo Nicholas DiChiara!!!
