"There was an app for that": I've been informed by a Google Glass user that The vOICe for Android no longer runs as a side-loaded app on Glass. It reportedly just shows a black screen, without any sound. I cannot think of a reason other than recent changes to the Glass firmware. I wonder if, someday in the future, they could develop a digital implant that could switch off or isolate the electrical currents for the part of the brain where seizures originate? Some people with epilepsy get early warning signs that a seizure is coming. I am working to complete development of my Glass-based EyeSpeech system at the end of September to enable eye-gaze texting capability. I would like to put in place a pilot/test program at two or more medical centers by mid-October, and thought it would be a good idea to reach out to you now. Would you be supportive of using Glass with the EyeSpeech interface and an eye-tracking cam mounted 4 cm from the eye among  patients at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Centerwho may benefit from this capability? We would provide one or more Glass devices with the EyeSpeech/cam system enabled. All we ask is your availability to document the use of the system and report back to us your observations and experience so that we may improve the technology. My goal is to use this pilot program as a means to broker a deal between Google and Arrington Research (which manufactures the eye-tracking cam) to make this
