  2. I'm still getting my head around how G+ communities work but yes Janet if you click 'email discussions' over on the left it takes you to the email communications.

  3. That Google Groups page is the archive of primarily email-based discussion. For many, email has been the most convenient way to remain engaged in online forums. For a long time now though, many of us have observed a shift in what channels are convenient and not. As our email fills with spam and work stuff, and mobile phones become more usable, the idea that the likes of Facebook, LinkedIn and G+ becoming more useful communication spaces is feasible.
    So we're in a transition phase, and the challenge is how to keep it connected. We need to try and work out a way to get posts made to G+ sent into Google Groups automatically. When people reply by email to that post, their reply is coppied into the comments under the G+ post.
    It should be possible, as it is at an individual user level. I get G+ pays in my email, and can reply from email too. So it might be simply creating a dummy email address, joining that address to a G+ community, and setting up a fwding rule from that address into Google Groups...
