A drone and a robot assisted finding the body of man who held a woman and her daughter hostage, and then killed himself after they were rescued by police. It's the first time that a drone has been used for this purpose.

  1. I've tried to do some digging on this, but came up with nothing. CASA doesn't make UAV registration data available like it does for manned aircraft. What's more, neither the State of Queensland, nor its police, are listed as UAV certificate holders on the CASA website: http://www.casa.gov.au/scripts/nc.dll?WCMS:STANDARD::pc=PC_100959
