Today has been a great day.
I was mucking around with the templates within blogger and managed to cut all the connections to old posts and old links so .......when stuff happens flow with it I'm learning. It's obviously happened for a reason and I'm feeling kind of lucky !
With a new blog in place I'm keen to just simplify this whole process of interacting within the machine that connects us all to each other.I've been reflecting alittle on Eckart Tolle, Kevin Kelly and some of my own old jottings and it would seem that the harder I resist change and the more attached I become to things the quicker they seem to pull away so I'm just going to go with the flow here and see what happens.
I began putting things online way back in 1990 / 1991 I think it was as an experiment and hey a decade later I'm still up for the odd experiment or two. It's an incredibly quiet time and with literally days on hand I'm going to set myself the challenge of finally doing some drawings, some jottings, some plan scribbles for some artworks to come - juxtaposed with a concerted effort to track and record all that I've been able to locate so far elsewhere......in the nooks and crannies of peoples collections and in the galleries and back cupboards and so on.
I've got an idea that if I can build the catalaogue bit of this website I might just dig up some treasure that will inspire me to be less electronically egotistical and more crerative connected with seeing, hearing, feeling etc. No disrespect - just a quiet musing for tonight anyhow.
Can anyone tell me why my blog has no 'post/date' function at the base of my post comments when I'm publishing them ?
To date their is no time / date editor attached and the wysiwig component is only showing five things ( dramas with blogger I think ) but apart from that I'm happy with the minimal look and will be connecting up all the links to respective sites and pages.
I've archive previous posts - should you need them , let me know and I'll email them to you. ....or as you well know Blogger discards nothing so just punch in my name anywhere in the search fields and I'm sure you'll find old posts if they are that important to you.
Otherwise enjoy the change !
